The institution/s running ETT course shall admit number of candidates strictly as per Govt. order. In case of General category candidates with atleast 45% marks and reserved category with 40% marks in the qualifying examination, or its equivalent shall be eligible for admission to the said course. 2% of the sanctioned seats shall be free seats in each institution for the candidates belonging to BPL category for which the candidate has to submit a certificate duly issued by the competent authority to this effect as per standing rules.

The candidate admitted against the payment seat shall pay Rs. 14,520/- per year to the institution, whereas candidate admitted against the free seat shall pay Rs. 7,260/- per year.

The concerned Head of the institutions are required to submit the documents of each candidate admitted to their institution for said ETT course, in the office of the Joint Secretary, ETT, JD, Rehari Colony, Jammu/KD Bemina, Srinagar, respectively on or before 16-10-2009 as under:

• Detailed list of candidates in shape of hard copy / soft copy (Annexure-I)
• Eligibility form duly filled, in respect of each candidate.
• Certificates / documents as laid down in syllabi alongwith prescribed fee in shape of DD of Nationalized / Scheduled Bank favouring Chairman J&K BOSE, payable at RCC, Srinagar/Jammu, Bank Slip, payable to the Chairman J&K BOSE and an affidavit from the candidate duly attested by the notary that the certificates/documents submitted by the candidates are genuine and in case the certificates/documents at any stage are found fake or invalid admission so granted or result declared will be cancelled.
  • Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate.
  • Marks certificate of HS Exam Part-II (Class 12th) or equivalent examination certificate.
  • Class 12th pass certificate or equivalent examination pass certificate.
  • Transfer or Migration certificate or both as the case may be.
  • Certificate of good conduct from the Principal / Head of the institution last attended.
  • Category certificate (in case of students who are permanent residents of J&K State and claim consideration under reserved category) issued by the competent authority as per latest SRO issued by the J&K State Government/Central Government.
• Fee to be paid to the J&K State Board:
  • In case of candidates having passed the qualifying examination from other Board / Examining Body shall pay Rs. 3170/- as per following break up.
    • Registration Fee Rs. 610/-
    • Eligibility Fee Rs. 310/-
    • Corpus/development fund Rs. 1650/-
    • Cost of syllabi / prospectus Rs. 600/-
  • In case of candidates having passed the qualifying examination from J&K Board shall pay Rs. 2620 as per following break up:
    • Renewal fee Rs. 370/-
    • Corpus/development fund Rs. 1650/-
    • Cost of syllabi/prospectus Rs. 600/-
